I use quality whetstones and honing rods to sharpen and hone your blades to perfection.

Cleaning & Rust Removal
I use rust removing compounds to quickly remove rust from your metal tools. And more depending on the specific requirements of your project.

Fix-Up
I use all the tools mentioned before plus whatever tools are required for your specific project (allen wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.)

Consulting
You and me have an hour chat about your tools and what you should do with them.

You look at my services, pick one, and submit the contact form.
How you work with me

I review your contact form and approve it. We have a chat over the phone (at the specified time) about when and where in the service area I will pick up your tools.

I pick up your tool(s) from your address or a different location (has to be in SJC or SC) and I service your tools at my garage workshop. Or if you require consulting, then you and I have a talk in-person (anywhere in service area) about your tools.

I drop off your tools at your address or specified drop-off location, you pay the amount specified in the contact form, the service section in Home, and the services page. After you pay, I ask you for a testimonial I can put on this website, and if you say yes, great! If you say no, great! You and I still had a positive interaction.
How the Service Area Works
The official service area of SJC Tool Maintenance is SJC and SC, otherwise known as San Juan Capistrano, US and San Clemente, US.
But here’s how my system works. When I pick-up and drop-off your tools or consult with someone, it has to be in my service area. So, if you live outside of SJC or SC and want my services, you can set the pick-up and drop-off point inside my service area. It’s that simple.
And if you live in the service area, its even simpler, I just go to your house to pick up your tools and return them at the specified time. And if you’re not comfortable with that, we can set a different pick-up and drop-off point inside the service area.
